i dont think they make the playoffs but should be better payout on not making it.

they didnt make any moves in the offseason (at least notable ones) and have a huge payroll. cards and brewers i think are better than the cubs and although the starting rotation is familiar names they are aging players (Hamels, Lester, Quintana, Hendricks, and Darvish). If Darvish is healthy is always a question and the bullpen behind these aging guys is a huge question.
Offense should still be good but if they are looking like a non-threat towards the deadline they are gonna want to clean house and they are a team with a lot of guys other teams would like to take for a playoff run. Heyward, Rizzo, and Schwarber are all diminishing offensive players.
